I thought I’d throw at you two links, completely different in nature.

The first lighthearted one reveals the secret to calculating Pi by throwing frozen hotdogs.

The second, which I stumbled upon whilst reading about David Purley and Roger Williamson is a collection of photos dating back to 1955 that have been awarded the World Press Photo award.

What I find striking about the images is the extent to which grief dominates as a theme. And grief, I guess, walks hand in hand with despair, that other photogenic trait. The image that struck me most was that of 1984; I think it was the eyes. Anyways, back to work…
