Stormy got me a great gift for Christmas; namely, 10 free vouchers to see films at the Schonell.
1) – “Words from my Perfect Teacher” – I thought it was poorly made, with annoying subjects and little substance. The only redeeming feature of the whole experience was the short insight into Bhutanese culture and geography towards the end of the film.
2) -Paradise Now: A film which details the last few days of a few would-be Palestinian suicide bombers. – With such a powerful subject as this, it’s hard not to be affected in some way. I’m still undecided as to whether I ‘like’ the film or agree with the slant taken by the makers. I was definitely glad for having seen it though and would recommend it to others.

What an Awesome gift! I was hoping that film would be good, I thought the eccentric footy fan guru would be inspiring. Probably won’t see it now.
I wouldn’t choose not to see it based on my beliefs and review Raz. I was just disappointed with the end result. It was like they had an idea but didn’t execute it very well…
