Given that one of my resolutions was to improve my musicianship as much as possible this year, I thought I would finally put some music up on this site as I had intended to do from the outset…
So to start the whole shebang I thought I would start with my newest composition and most lighthearted (instrumental) piece, A Simple Summer Song.
Given the way I record (playing it through until I get one I like enough to use) the end product is never as good as I would like. But after 5 attempts, this one is usable (sort of)…
Anyways, here’s to 2006, music and getting up early.

“is usable”…pffft. It’s more than usable!! It’s a beautiful piece of music. You are very talented, James. Good luck with the music this year…share more of your stuff with peoples. The world needs more tingly tunes like yours.
Actually James, after to listening to this song…you could very easily but lyrics to it. And it would sound ace as well.
